Hammarby salvaged a 1–1 home draw against Anderlecht in the Europa League qualifier thanks to a late goal by substitute Frank Junior Adjei.

Coach Henrik Rydström noted that the start was too weak but the team produced a good match. Adjei said Hammarby deserved to win.

Anderlecht's Nathan Saliba was sent off with a quarter of an hour left after two yellow cards.
