Lee Jung-hoo records first five-hit game as Giants rout Rockies

San Francisco Giants outfielder Lee Jung-hoo collected five hits in a 19-6 win over the Colorado Rockies on May 31.

Lee Jung-hoo batted 5-for-6 with two RBIs and a run in the game at Coors Field in Denver. The performance marked his first five-hit game in the majors and raised his batting average to .304.

This was Lee's third game after returning from a 10-day injured list stint with a back strain. He went 11-for-15 in those contests after hitting .300 for the last time on April 28.

Lee singled in the first inning, doubled and singled in the fifth, then added two more singles. The Giants outhit the Rockies 25-10. Teammates Kim Ha-seong and Song Sung-mun went hitless in their games that day.
