Bolsa mexicana sobe 0,63% em meio à volatilidade

A Bolsa de Valores mexicana fechou em alta na segunda-feira, 18 de maio, enquanto Wall Street registrou resultados mistos em meio à incerteza sobre um possível acordo entre Estados Unidos e Irã.

O principal índice da Bolsa de Valores mexicana subiu 0,63%, para 68.405,2 pontos. O ganho encerrou duas sessões consecutivas de quedas após uma baixa de 2,69% na semana anterior.

Em Nova York, o Nasdaq caiu 0,51%, para 26.090,73 pontos. O S&P 500 recuou 0,07%, para 7.403,05, enquanto o Dow Jones subiu 0,32%, para 49.686,12.

Analistas associaram a volatilidade a sinais mistos sobre os fluxos de energia pelo Estreito de Ormuz. Louis Navellier, diretor de investimentos da Navellier & Assocs, alertou que os preços da energia podem subir se os fluxos não forem retomados dentro de um mês.

A Seagate caiu 6,8% e puxou para baixo a Micron Technology, que recuou 5,9%, e a Sandisk, que caiu 5%. O petróleo bruto West Texas Intermediate subiu 3,07%, para 108,66 dólares por barril.
