Taufiq Kurniawan, Area Manager for Communication, Relations, & CSR in the Central Java region, expressed Pertamina's concern. "We convey our condolences for the incident. Pertamina has conducted an investigation and ensured proper on-site handling," he said. The closure allows for thorough safety reviews, training with HSSE teams and the fire department, and facility improvements.

Motorcycle owner Chiko Relisviano Ramadhan received a transparent explanation and stated, "The issue has been resolved well, and I accept the outcome." SPBU operator Giyono apologized and pledged to enhance vigilance. Taufiq advised checking vehicle conditions, especially electrics, and confirmed free extinguisher use.

During the closure, customers can use nearby SPBU 44.502.29 on Jl. Veteran or SPBU 41.502.01 Coco on Jl. Ahmad Yani.
