The exercise involved coordinated boarding operations on the US Coast Guard Cutter Kimball and the Mexican Navy vessel ARM Juárez. It focused on improving tactical skills, communication and interoperability for maritime law enforcement.

PCG Explosive Ordnance Disposal personnel also joined a separate multinational rigging exercise. This training was led by the US Navy Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit One and included teams from Japan, Peru, Mexico and New Zealand.

The PCG stated that its participation highlights a commitment to building specialized capabilities and supporting regional maritime security through multinational training.
