Polri forms Satgas ASRI for clean work environments

Polri has established Satgas ASRI across its units to create clean, healthy, and sustainable work environments. This follows President Prabowo Subianto's instructions during the 2026 National Coordination Meeting on the Gerakan Indonesia ASRI initiative. The Police Public Relations Division head stressed the need for concrete actions in environmental care.

The Indonesian National Police (Polri) has formed Satgas ASRI, standing for Aktif, Sehat, Ramah, dan Indah, across all its facilities. The initiative aims to foster healthy habits and environmental awareness in workplaces, following President Prabowo Subianto's directives at the 2026 National Coordination Meeting for Central and Regional Governments. The national Gerakan Indonesia ASRI, meaning Aman, Sehat, Resik, dan Indah, targets clean and organized environments.

Irjen Johnny Eddizon Isir, Head of Polri's Public Relations Division, noted that National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo emphasizes that ASRI is more than a slogan. "The message is that environmental care must be realized through real actions, starting from simple things and from our daily workplaces," he said.

Led by Irjen Polisi Kalingga Raharja, Commander of Baharkam Polri's Community Guidance Corps, the task force operates from national headquarters to local police stations nationwide. Polri has issued mandatory guidelines, including personnel cleaning work areas one hour before duties, weekly community service at headquarters, partnerships with locals to clean public facilities, and eco-friendly measures like reducing single-use plastics and conserving energy and water.

Irjen Isir added that the movement should become Polri's work culture, aligning with the president's call for bureaucracy to contribute to sustainable development. Polri positions itself as a role model in environmental preservation, beginning internally.
