Earlier Om Zein issued an apology via Instagram. He stated that the song lyrics recount his own life journey and thanked the public for their attention as a form of affection.

Atalia Praratya assessed that the lyrics showed no respect toward women and touched on Sundanese cultural values. The ministry will compile a clarification report with sanction recommendations for the Minister of Home Affairs.
