Royals and stars gather for Czech Wimbledon final

The first all-Czech Wimbledon women’s singles final took place on Centre Court on July 11 between Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova. Kate Middleton was expected to present the trophy as patron of the All England Club.

The Royal Box hosted an array of guests for the championship match. Attendees included Lily Collins, Sam Mendes, Davina McCall, Hannah Waddingham, Jodie Foster and Billie Jean King.

Former champions Simona Halep, Maria Sharapova, Petra Kvitová, Martina Navratilova and Marion Bartoli were also present, bringing a combined 20 singles Wimbledon titles to the box.

Other royals at the Championships this year included Queen Camilla, Peter Phillips, Carole Middleton and Pippa Matthews. The final marked the first Grand Slam title match between two players from the same nation since the 2017 US Open.
