Temporary changing rooms remain after seven years for Håbo FF

Håbo FF football club in Bålsta is still using temporary changing rooms seven years after their sports field disappeared.

The municipality built housing on the site seven years ago and promised a replacement solution. The club now uses Futurum school as its home ground where up to one hundred players gather on match days.

Chairman Enrico Seeling states that the conference room in the club house serves as an extra changing area. He says the club loses players to nearby municipalities with better conditions.

Players often change at home or in school toilets while away teams queue. Referee and player Evelina Forsberg describes the situation as sad and believes the club's reputation is damaged.
