The Arena hires four executives to expand global franchises

Erik Feig's independent studio The Arena has hired four executives to bolster its production and creative teams focused on gaming and anime-inspired content.

The Arena announced the appointments of Melissa Goodall and Zach Hamby as Vice Presidents of Production along with Megan Fleming and Sajan Alagiri as Creative Executives. All four will report to President of Production Matt Reilly and will work on building the company's slate of film and television projects.

Reilly stated that the team growth better equips the studio to create franchises resonating worldwide. He highlighted the new hires' combined decades of experience at major studios in developing global hits.

Goodall previously served as Head of Development at The Kennedy/Marshall Company. Hamby came from Warner Bros. where he contributed to projects including Barbie and the Dune franchise. Fleming brings over 10 years across film, television and gaming while Alagiri joins from Picturestart.

The Saudi-backed studio led by Feig maintains projects under its South Town banner including the film Fatal Fury and the animated series Fatal Fury: The Vow.
