Titled Tuesday weekly prize fund set to reach $10,000

Chess.com announced that Titled Tuesday will feature a $10,000 weekly prize fund beginning June 2. The change will raise the yearly total above $500,000.

The online blitz event, which began in 2014, draws titled players including GMs Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Javokhir Sindarov and Nihal Sarin each week. Organizers said the increased prizes will reward competitors at every level while maintaining strict fair-play standards through Proctor software.
