Mulher isolada em hospital de Alicante testa negativo para hantavírus pela quarta vez

A paciente de 32 anos isolada no hospital San Juan, em Alicante, por suspeita de hantavírus testou negativo em seu quarto exame de PCR, informou a Conselleria de Sanidad neste domingo.

A mulher permanecerá internada no hospital de Alicante e poderá receber visitas de parentes de primeiro grau a partir de segunda-feira, com horário restrito e uso de equipamentos de proteção individual apropriados, conforme o protocolo do Ministério da Saúde.

O hospital estabeleceu medidas de segurança exaustivas e concretas, incluindo a transferência inicial em ambulância equipada e o isolamento em um quarto com pressão negativa.

Na sexta-feira, 22 de maio, será coletada uma nova amostra para o quinto exame de PCR, que será enviado ao Centro Nacional de Microbiologia.

As autoridades ativaram recursos desde o início para garantir a vigilância epidemiológica da população e dos profissionais de saúde após o alerta recebido em 8 de maio por meio do Sistema de Alerta Europeu.
