Wyndham Clark signs putter deal with Ping before U.S. Open win

Wyndham Clark has signed an endorsement agreement with Ping for the Scottsdale TEC Ally Blue Onset putter he used during his 2026 U.S. Open victory at Shinnecock Hills. The deal was announced the week before the tournament, marking the first putter-only contract for the company in more than 50 years.

Clark switched to the center-shafted putter in March without a contract. He tested both the Ally Blue Onset and Ketsch Onset models during a visit to the Ping Tour truck in Houston and selected the Ally Blue for its face-balanced design.

Ping Player Development Manager Dylan Goodwin said Clark requested builds to his specifications, including a counterbalanced version with a 400g head, 17g tip weight and lead tape to match the feel of his previous Odyssey Jailbird. Clark has credited the putter for improved putting stats since the switch.

The agreement gives Ping its first major win in over a decade. Clark finished the U.S. Open with strong short-game play despite uneven ball striking over the final rounds.
