On May 22 2026 the Marseille correctional court heard details of extravagant spending by Félix Bingui and associates in Dubai in 2022.
During the hearing the president of the 7th chamber cited wiretaps showing the group spent 5000 euros each evening on restaurants and another 5000 euros in nightclubs over one month.
The figures came from a woman who accompanied Félix Bingui and his right-hand man on a trip to the United Arab Emirates in early 2022. The group met Mahrez K., a childhood acquaintance from Marseille who had recently moved to Dubai to start a concierge business.
Prosecutors describe Félix Bingui as the undisputed head of the Marseille-based criminal organization tied to drug trafficking and accuse him of laundering proceeds from lucrative dealing spots.
