Capcom plans more game reveals before April 2027

Capcom has confirmed plans to announce additional unannounced games in the coming years, as stated in its FY 2025 Q3 earnings report. The company emphasized a focus on both new titles and sales of its catalog of older games. Upcoming releases include updates to Pragmata's launch date.

During a Q&A session in its FY 2025 Q3 earnings report, Capcom outlined its strategy for the digital contents business, highlighting an ongoing focus on sales of both new and catalog titles. The company stated, “We will provide details of our strategy for the next fiscal year at the time of our full-year earnings announcement. Within the Digital Contents business, our ongoing focus remains on both new and catalog title sales. In addition to Pragmata, new titles will be announced at a future date, and we will continue related initiatives to expanding catalog sales.”

Capcom did not provide specifics on the new titles but noted that beyond Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, further announcements are forthcoming. Regarding catalog sales, the company aims to boost revenue from older titles, potentially including unreleased modern ports of series like Breath of Fire and PS2-era games such as Shadow of Rome.

Upcoming releases begin with Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection on March 13 across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. This is followed by Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection on March 27 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Pragmata, a science fiction action-adventure game set in a near-future world involving lunum ore and a lunar research station, has had its release date advanced from April 24 to April 17 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The story follows Hugh Williams, who is discovered by a Pragmata android after a lunar quake.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is slated for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S later in 2026, with a likely Nintendo Switch 2 release. Director Satoru Nihei emphasized the game's action elements, saying, “Action is absolutely essential when discussing what makes an Onimusha game. Iconic elements like soul absorption and Issen counters are very much present in this game, and we’ve taken a lot of care in crafting them.” The title includes homages to earlier games but features no returning characters or direct story connections.
