Commerce, tourism, and rural productivity have faced significant setbacks. In response, the Huila Chamber of Commerce has called for unity: “It is essential for all Huilenses to support this area of the department, accompany its inhabitants, and send a clear message of resilience, hope, and collective commitment to peace and development”.
The initiative is backed by the Huila Governor's Office and the mayors of La Plata, Tesalia, Paicol, Nátaga, and La Argentina. These bodies have collaborated to blend art, tradition, and messages of reconciliation, particularly during the holiday season of family gatherings.
