UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric stated on April 1 that despite challenges in de-escalating tensions, experts are analyzing physical evidence and consulting parties, with results expected soon. "The investigation is ongoing and we are confident to provide the latest information on its results soon," Dujarric said. The UN condemned the attacks as unacceptable and is committed to establishing facts, with Deputy Secretary-General Jean-Pierre Lacroix monitoring peacekeeper safety.
