Ludvig Åberg gick första rundan på 69 slag, ett under par, i US Open på Shinnecock Hills.

Svensken hanterade de svåra vindarna bra under torsdagens rond. Han gjorde tre birdies och två bogeys på banan utanför New York.

Åberg spelade tillsammans med Rory McIlroy, som också gick på minus ett. De delade andraplatsen bakom amerikanen Sam Stevens när de avslutat.

– Det var en bra dag. Jag är nöjd med hur jag scorade framför allt, säger Åberg till Aftonbladet.

Alex Norén hade det tyngre och slutade på plus fyra. Första rundan pågår fortfarande.
