Boende i Avesta rekommenderas koka dricksvattnet

Kommunen i Avesta uppmanar invånare att koka vatten för dryck och matlagning som en försiktighetsåtgärd.

Uppmaningen riktas till boende i Avesta tätort och Skogsbo. Den gäller åtminstone fram till måndag.

Rekommendationen utfärdades i torsdags efter misstanke om att markvatten läckt in under ett omkopplingsarbete. Inga tecken på att vattnet är farligt har rapporterats.

Prover har tagits men resultaten väntas inte förrän senare. Tätorten har cirka 16 000 invånare.
