Bancolombia supported the entry of machinery and vehicles valued at more than US$110 million into the country during 2025 through 953 transactions for 212 clients.
The Grupo Cibest entity facilitated these foreign trade operations according to data from the SICEX platform. Vice president of products Luis Miguel Zapata Herrera highlighted the joint work with operational allies such as customs agencies and carriers. Two companies illustrate the use of this service. KMA Construcciones S.A.S. imported 80 heavy machinery vehicles for road projects on the Troncal del Magdalena. Papeles Nacionales S.A.S. brought a PM5 paper mill from Italy that required 92 containers and 36 additional loads. These figures consolidate Bancolombia's role in the productive assets segment for sectors such as construction and the paper industry.
