En filmversion av det klassiska äventyrsspelet Broken Sword går nu vidare efter år av avstannade försök. Produktionsbolaget Story Kitchen leder projektet i samarbete med spelets utvecklare, Revolution Software. Nyheten framkom nyligen genom branschrapporter.

Titeln Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars från 1996 följer amerikanen George Stobbart och den franska journalisten Nicole Collard när de nystar upp en tempelherrekonspiration över hela Europa. Revolution Software skapade peka-och-klicka-spelet med en jordnära ton och handritad grafik som utmärkte sig från tidens mer tecknade motsvarigheter.
