Före detta detektiv åtalad efter att ha riktat pistol mot kollega på grund av fiskdoft

En före detta poliskommissarie i South Carolina har arresterats och avskedats efter att påstås ha riktat sitt tjänstevapen mot en kollega under en konfrontation om matos i kontorets mikrovågsugn.

46-årige Michael DeBiase åtalades på tisdagen för att ha siktat med och visat upp ett skjutvapen. Händelsen inträffade den 30 maj vid Myrtle Beach Police Departments huvudkontor. Enligt häktningsordern konfronterade DeBiase en patrullerande polis angående att denne värmt fisk i mikrovågsugnen. Han drog därefter sitt tjänstevapen och riktade det mot polismannen. Myrtle Beach Police Department stängde omedelbart av DeBiase från tjänst efter händelsen. Senare avslutades hans anställning för brott mot myndighetens policy. DeBiase fördes till J. Reuben Long Detention Center och frigavs mot en borgen på 5 000 dollar. Åklagare från 15th Circuit Solicitor's Office förväntas hantera fallet.
