Tyska socialutgifter når 751 miljarder euro

Tyskland lägger för närvarande 751 miljarder euro på sociala förmåner. Utgifterna stiger särskilt för arbetslöshetsersättning (Arbeitslosengeld I), vårdbidrag och socialt bistånd.

Det federala statistikkontoret har publicerat de senaste siffrorna. Enligt uppgifterna beror nivån på förmånerna på arbetsmarknadsläget, sysselsättningsgraden, inflationen och den demografiska utvecklingen.

Utgifterna ökar särskilt kraftigt för arbetslöshetsersättning, vårdbidrag och socialt bistånd. Däremot minskar kostnaderna för en annan förmån något.

Myndigheten betonar att politiska beslut endast förklarar en del av trenden. Även ekonomiska och sociala faktorer spelar en roll.
