Örebrobaserade konstnären Dragomir Rajkovic har avlidit

Den belgradfödde konstnären Dragomir Rajkovic, som bott i Örebro sedan 1975, har gått bort vid 81 års ålder. Hans hustru Birgitta Rajkovic minns honom som älskad av många. Rajkovic utbildade sig i hemlandet och kom till Sverige för att arbeta med teaterdekorationer.

Dragomir Rajkovic föddes den 14 juli 1944 i det dåvarande Jugoslavien, närmare bestämt i Belgrad. Där utbildade han sig till konstnär innan han tillbringade några år i Österrike. År 1975 flyttade han till Örebro med målet att skapa kulisser och dekorationer till den nybyggda Hjalmar Bergmanteatern.

Rajkovic, som bodde i Karlslund utanför Örebro, blev en del av den lokala konstscenen. Hans hustru Birgitta Rajkovic berättar: "Han var älskad av många – det märks när så många vill prata om honom." Hennes ord understryker den uppskattning han åtnjöt bland vänner och bekanta.
