Över 300 i Dalarna får återkrav från CSN

Över 300 personer i Dalarna måste betala tillbaka studiemedel efter att ha tjänat för mycket under 2024. CSN har krävt tillbaka närmare åtta miljoner kronor i länet.

Centrala studiestödsnämnden kontrollerar inkomster två år senare. Nu granskas 2024 och de som överskridit fribeloppet får återkrav.

Fribeloppet beräknas per halvår. Utbetalningsdatumet avgör om inkomsten påverkar studiemedlet.

– Då är det viktigt att tänka på att det är utbetalningsdatumet som styr, säger Joakim Strömblad, utredare på CSN.

I hela Sverige har 13 928 personer fått återkrav på totalt 403 miljoner kronor. Högst andel återbetalningsskyldiga finns i Stockholm, Västmanland och Dalarna.

The local newspaper Dala-Demokraten has released lists of the highest earners in Dalarna's communes, based on 2024 tax declaration data. The richest individuals earn on average 60 times the median wage in the county. The lists reveal significant income disparities across different areas.
