Polisen varnar för falska 500-kronorssedlar i omlopp

Polisen i region Mitt har tagit emot flera anmälningar om falska 500-kronorssedlar som är i omlopp. Sedlarna har använts eller försökts användas vid betalningar i butiker och mellan privatpersoner.

Anmälningarna gäller platser som Gävle, Uppsala, Köping och Västerås. Polisen uppmanar handlare och allmänheten att vara extra uppmärksamma vid kontantbetalningar och att kontrollera sedlarna noga.
