Polisen har den senaste tiden sett en ökning av fyrhjulingsstölder i Dalarna. Risken finns att stölderna sprider sig till angränsande län.

Stölderna genomförs ofta snabbt och planerat. Tjuvarna riktar sig främst mot nyare fordon som annonserats på nätet.

Polisen uppmanar ägare att förvara fordonen i låsta och upplysta utrymmen. De ska också vara uppmärksamma på okända personer och fordon i närområdet.

En stor stöldhärva med runt 70 fordon löstes nyligen med hjälp av GPS efter stölder förra sommaren.
