Två trakehnerföl har fötts på en hästgård i Hirschburg nära Ribnitz-Damgarten. Både fölen och stoet mår bra.

Tino Leipold, ägare av Bernsteinreiter-Hof, har fött upp trakehnerhästar i 20 år. Under den tiden har han aldrig tidigare varit med om en tvillingfödsel och säger att han inte hade förväntat sig det. Fölen, som fått namnen Primus Maximus och Primus Minimus, föddes den 10 april. Stoet Prima Diva klarade av födseln utan kejsarsnitt, trots att tvillingfödslar hos hästar är extremt ovanliga och chansen för överlevnad ligger under en procent. Gårdens veterinär Hannah Jeibmann förklarade att naturen inte är anpassad för två föl i livmodern.
