UD avråder från resor till Qatar och Dubai

Utrikesdepartementet (UD) avråder svenskar från att resa till Qatar, Förenade arabemiraten, Kuwait och Bahrain på grund av den eskalerande konflikten i regionen. Beslutet fattades på lördagen efter att USA och Israel inlett attacker mot Iran. Avrådan gäller inte transitflygningar vid vissa flygplatser i Qatar och Förenade arabemiraten.

På sin hemsida meddelar utrikesdepartementet (UD) att svenskar bör undvika resor till Qatar, Förenade arabemiraten, Kuwait och Bahrain. Beslutet om reseavrådan togs på lördagen, den 28 februari 2026, efter att USA och Israel startat attacker mot Iran. Tidigare under dagen rapporterades explosioner i bland annat Dubai i Förenade arabemiraten.

Avrådan gäller inte för transitflygningar vid vissa flygplatser i Qatar och Förenade arabemiraten. Sedan tidigare är det avrått från resor till flera andra länder i regionen, inklusive Israel och Iran.
