A building was completely destroyed in a fire on the night of May 27 in Garpenberg. It is the fifth fire in the area in a short time.
Police and emergency services were alerted to the fire during the night to Wednesday, May 27. The building was empty and no one was injured.
The house was used as a vacation home and was under renovation. Authorities and residents see a worrying pattern in the fires.
The police are appealing for help from the public. Resident Ellen Tiensuu says that one becomes a bit nervous that they will burn down one's own house too.
