On Ketit 25, 2018 (Fana Media Corporation), in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's National Electoral Board unveiled its manifesto for the 7th general election during a press briefing. Board spokesperson Melatwork Hailu explained during the briefing that the manifesto, prepared in multiple languages, will be disseminated across all media platforms to ensure accessibility to the public. She noted that it is designed to guide candidates on how to engage in the electoral process.

At present, the board is actively scrutinizing candidate qualifications and training polling staff.
