Ethiopia's National Electoral Board has launched a manifesto titled “Our Election – A Country Without Us” for the 7th general election in Addis Ababa. On Ketit 25, 2018 (Fana Media Corporation), in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia's National Electoral Board unveiled its manifesto for the 7th general election during a press briefing. The publication highlights the importance of elections in fostering national development and emphasizes the strength of a unified voice, encouraging citizens to contribute to progress through their civic duties.

Board spokesperson Melatwork Hailu explained during the briefing that the manifesto, prepared in multiple languages, will be disseminated across all media platforms to ensure accessibility to the public. She noted that it is designed to guide candidates on how to engage in the electoral process.

At present, the board is actively scrutinizing candidate qualifications and training polling staff. Officials announced that candidate registration will commence from Ketit 28, urging political parties to submit applications either through the board's system or via physical or technological registration methods.
