Upinzani inadai serikali imetwaa sekta za uchumi

Viongozi wa upinzani nchini wameadai serikali imetekaji sekta muhimu za kiuchumi, na kuwaelezea Wakenya kuwatenga utawala wa Kenya Kwanza katika uchaguzi ujao. Hii ilisemwa katika ibada ya pamoja eneo la Gatanga, Murang’a.

Katika ibada ya madhehebu mbalimbali eneo la Gatanga, Aliyekuwa Naibu wa Rais Rigathi Gachagua, ambaye pia ni kiongozi wa DCP, alidai kuwa wakandarasi wa China waliofaa kujenga reli jijini wameondolewa ili makiritimba wa ndani wachukue mradi huo uliofadhiliwa na Uingereza. Kampuni ya China ilikuwa imenukuu Sh22 bilioni huku mshindani akipewa zabuni kwa Sh29 bilioni. “Ninaomba serikali ya China ijiunge nasi kulalamikia hatua hii,” alisema Gachagua, akiomba pia Uingereza ichunguze tofauti ya Sh7 bilioni. Aliongeza kuwa sekta kama saruji, vyuma na vifaa vya ujenzi sasa zinadhibitiwa na mtu mmoja, na sasa zimepanuka kwa afya, madini, benki, jeshi, bima, elimu na uchukuzi wa umma. Alitaja polisi kutwaa mali ya Raphael Tuju na wamiliki wa vituo vya afya kushinikizwa. Makamu wa Rais wa zamani Kalonzo Musyoka alilaumu kurudi kwa kandarasi za Adani na juhudi za kunyamazisha wakosoaji kupitia mahakama na IEBC. “Hatutakubali wizi wa kura,” alisema. Eugene Wamalwa alisema utawala umeharibu kila kitu kutoka utekaji nyara hadi wizi, na suluhu ni kuiondoa. Justin Muturi alizungumzia ardhi ya Delmonte Murang’a iliyotwaliwa na wanyakuzi licha ya bunge kuamuru ipewe maskwota 4,000, na madai ya kuchukua Nairobi Hospital wiki iliyopita ambapo bodi ilikamatwa.
