Rep Dasuki says Sokoto can pay N150,000 minimum wage

Rep Abdussamad Dasuki has stated that Sokoto State possesses the resources to implement a N150,000 minimum wage while continuing infrastructure development.

Rep Abdussamad Dasuki, who represents the Kebbe/Tambuwal Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, made the remarks in recent comments on state finances.

He attributed the state's capacity to increased federal allocations received by Sokoto.

Dasuki noted that these funds would allow the government to meet the higher wage bill and still pursue infrastructure projects.
