Akizungumza jana kwenye Spice FM, Sifuna alisisitiza kuwa lengo lake la kwanza ni kujenga vuguvugu lenye nguvu la kushinda serikali ya Rais William Ruto. “Sifuna kuwa rais? Si kuhusu Sifuna. Kwanza tunajenga vuguvugu lenye nguvu. Tunahitaji idadi ya kutosha kushinda serikali. Masuala ya azma binafsi tutayashughulikia baadaye,” alisema.

Aliongeza kuwa mtazamo wake umechochewa na marehemu Raila Odinga, ambaye alimhimiza kusimama upande wa wananchi. “Raila alinifunza kuwa ukiwa upande wa wananchi, huna cha kuogopa,” alisema Sifuna, akidai Odinga hakuwahi kuunga mkono azma ya Ruto ya kuchaguliwa tena.

Sifuna alishutumu serikali kwa kutoa ahadi zisizotekelezeka na kutumia miradi vibaya, akisema vijana wanataka uhuru na utawala unaozingatia Katiba. Alimkosoa Waziri Kipchumba Murkomen kwa madai ya ufadhili na akanusha kuwa wanapokea fedha kutoka Uhuru Kenyatta, akisema michango inatoka wanachama na wafadhili binafsi.
