Warning issued on fake OSAP execs soliciting financial aid

The Office of the Special Assistant to the President warned the public against individuals and groups posing as its representatives to solicit money or financial aid.

The advisory from the OSAP, led by Special Assistant to the President Antonio Lagdameo Jr., stated that the office does not solicit funds or conduct transactions through SMS or private messaging apps.

Local government units were urged to verify any claims of directives from the OSAP only through official institutional channels.

The public was asked to report suspicious communications to the email address provided in the advisory.
