香港高校因招生规模扩大而购入办公空间

过去三年中,至少有六所香港高校因非本地生源增加及校园空间有限,开始向写字楼和购物中心拓展。香港科技大学最近在金钟开设了一个新的教学中心。

香港科技大学于2025年斥资3.454亿港元,购入了位于金钟统一中心四楼一处面积达31,410平方英尺的场所。该场地此前由名都酒楼占用,直至2024年结业。该教学中心于周二正式揭幕,主要供该校商学院使用。

香港科技大学商学院院长裴华(Frederik Anseel)表示,此举旨在满足对更合适教学空间的需求。他指出:“我们希望增加更多互动,让学生能够进行案例研究或团队合作,因此我们需要非常适合学生协作的场所和空间。”
