The National Transport and Safety Authority has clarified how learner drivers should book tests after some users reported missing options on the portal. Applicants must now use the updated eCitizen system to complete the process.
The National Transport and Safety Authority issued the clarification after a learner driver complained that no "Book Now" tab appeared on his account even though his provisional driving licence had matured.
NTSA directed users to log into their eCitizen account, select the new NTSA service portal and navigate to the test booking section. Applicants must then pay a Ksh 1,050 fee, choose a preferred date and visit a test centre.
Successful candidates can apply for an interim driving licence while those who fail may request a retest. First-time applicants are required to update their details before payment and scheduling.
