Datacrédito reveals frequent queries to EVA, its financial assistant

Midatacrédito revealed that queries about credit scores and histories lead financial education questions on its digital channels, handled by EVA, its virtual assistant. This interest signals a cultural shift in perceiving control over credit information for decision-making. The tool receives up to 400,000 monthly interactions and encourages responsible habits.

Midatacrédito, part of DataCrédito Experian, examined interactions on its digital platforms and found that questions about credit scores and histories are the most common in financial education topics. These queries are handled by EVA, the virtual assistant designed to address doubts and educate on financial concepts drawn from the company's database.

The most frequent questions include: "How to improve my score?" and "I want to know my score.". EVA manages up to 400,000 interactions regularly. The average credit score in Colombia exceeds 630 points on a scale from 150 to 999, reflecting users' financial responsibility habits.

"We are seeing growing interest from Colombians in knowing their credit information, understanding what their score means, and how they can use it to their advantage. This behavior shows that more people want to make informed decisions and seek financial products that truly fit their needs," stated Jacob Sandberg, vice president of Midatacrédito.

On the Midatacrédito website, users can check their score for free. The company reports over 10 million registered individuals and nearly one million frequent active users. Additionally, DataCrédito noted that 80% of users experienced positive impacts in managing their financial responsibilities.

"Financial education advances when people have tools that allow them to understand and use their information to their benefit. That is Midatacrédito's role: to provide access, clarity, and support so more Colombians make informed decisions and build a stronger financial future," Sandberg concluded.
