የብሔራዊ ምርጫ ቦርድ የሰባተኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ የመራጮች ምዝገባ መጀመሪያውን ቀን ከካቲት 7 ወደ ካቲት 28 ቀን ቀጠለ። ይህ ውሳኔ በአዲስ አበባ ተወያየ ሲሆን ቦርዱ ስራዎቹን ለማጠናቀቅ የሚያስችል ነው። ስብሳቢው ሜላተወርቅ ኃይሉ ይህን ገልጾ አቀረበ።

በአዲስ አበባ በኤፍ ኤም ሲ ካቲት 5፣ 2018 የብሔራዊ ምርጫ ቦርድ የሰባተኛው ጠቅላላ ምርጫ የመራጮች ምዝገባ መጀመሪያውን ቀን ወደ ካቲት 28፣ 2018 ቀን ተራዘሟል ብሎ ገልጿል። ይህ ማስታወቂያ በቀደሙት ገልጾች ከካቲት 7 ቀን መጀመሩ ይገለጹ ሲሆን በቦርዱ ስራዎች አካባቢ ለሚገኙ ክስተቶች ምክንያት ተደርጎ ተቀየረ።

ስብሳቢው ሜላተወርቅ ኃይሉ በመግለጫ መስጠት ላይ የሚገኙ ሥራዎች ዙሪያ ይህን ማስታወቂያ አቀረበ። ቦርዱ የመራጮች ምዝገባ ከካቲት 7 ቀን እንደሚጀመር ቀደም ብሎ ተናገረ ነበር፣ ነገር ግን ወደ ካቲት 28 ቀን ተስተካከለ። ይህ ለምርጫ እንዴት ይከፋፍላል የሚለው በምንም ቦታ አልተገለጸም።
