A forest fire at Jordgölen in Boxholm is under control after starting on Sunday. Rescue services have left the site and landowners are taking over monitoring.
The fire covered about three hectares of forest land. It was fought by several rescue units and firefighting aircraft before it was brought under control.
Landowners will now keep watch over the area until Wednesday. Fredrik Gustafsson says they usually monitor for three days after seeing smoke.
At the same time SMHI warns of high or very high risk of forest fire in large parts of Götaland.
