Designer Julie de Libran presented her fall 2026 couture collection yesterday at Studio Rituel on Paris's Left Bank. The event incorporated elements of well-being with models walking among Pilates equipment.
Julie de Libran invited guests to remove their shoes and sit on jute carpeting between Pilates reformers for the show. She described the setting as her personal ritual, noting that she sometimes forgets to breathe and uses the space to focus on mind and body alignment.
The studio founder Verena Tremel counted beats as models navigated the equipment. Looks ranged from a silvery sequined mesh dress to a dance-inspired ruffled fuchsia gown and tiers of metallic fringe.
Upcycled pieces included a dress made from multiple white shirts paired with a denim jacket, a gilet with rosettes, and a jacket assembled from previous couture tweeds. Other items featured chiffon, sculpted raffia with sequins, and silk brocade with a jeweled belt.
The collection offered a reminder to pause and breathe amid structured trends.
