The Ministry of Mines and Energy announced the reactivation of the former Impala port infrastructure under the new entity Puerto Voluntad. The measure aims to consolidate the site as Colombia's main multimodal energy and logistics hub. The reactivation will begin on July 1 and will recover about 50 hectares of infrastructure, more than 1,200 meters of dock and storage capacity of 850,000 barrels. The project will connect with rail and river systems. Minister Edwin Palma stated that
