Stellantis has announced that its battery-electric vehicles will gain access to Tesla's extensive Supercharger network starting in 2026. This move covers North America, Japan, and South Korea, aiming to boost EV convenience and adoption. Initial models include the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona.
Stellantis revealed on Wednesday its plan to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging System (NACS) for select battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) in North America, Japan, and South Korea. This integration will provide drivers with access to more than 28,000 Tesla Supercharger locations across these regions, enhancing charging options and supporting long-distance travel.
The rollout is scheduled to begin in early 2026 in North America, with expansion to Japan and South Korea in 2027. Compatible vehicles starting with the Jeep Wagoneer S and Dodge Charger Daytona, followed by the 2026 Jeep Recon and additional future Stellantis BEVs. Stellantis BEV owners in these markets will benefit from this access starting in 2026–2027, emphasizing the company's strategy to improve consumer choice, charging convenience, and confidence in electric vehicles.
By partnering with Tesla, Stellantis aims to address key barriers to EV adoption, such as reliable infrastructure for extended trips. However, the automaker cautioned that forward-looking statements on feature availability and charging infrastructure are subject to risks, including market conditions, regulatory developments, supply chain challenges, and infrastructure reliability. Actual outcomes may differ from expectations. Additional details on network accessibility and any required adapters are forthcoming.
