أقرت الحكومة يوم الأربعاء تخصيص فدان و90 سنتاً من الأرض بمساحة 600 قدم في 138 قدماً من مجمع السجن الذي يعود تاريخه إلى القرن التاسع عشر. سيتم بناء جدار حدودي بارتفاع 14 قدماً مع أسلاك شائكة على ثلاثة جوانب للحفاظ على أمن السجن الذي يضم أكثر من 1000 سجين. وفي وقت سابق من هذا العام، أعلن نائب رئيس الوزراء آنذاك سامرات شودري خلال "سامريدهي ياترا" أن المعبد سيُفتح قريباً أمام المصلين.
