Bandai Namco and Rebel Wolves have confirmed that The Blood of Dawnwalker will include the complete game on its physical disc. The medieval vampire role-playing game is scheduled for release on 3 September.
Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz stated during a recent interview that the game is coming to disc. Publisher Bandai Namco clarified that the full game data will be present on the disc, though a day-one patch is recommended.
The announcement comes amid industry discussions about physical media. Sony plans to stop producing PlayStation game discs by 2028, and other titles like Grand Theft Auto 6 are set to include only a code in the box.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is described as featuring sandbox freedom and time-limited elements. The developer previously shared four hours of gameplay with a journalist, who noted the combat depth.
