The Blood of Dawnwalker features a freeform structure that lets players skip everything after the prologue and rush the main vampire boss. Lead quest designer Rafał Jankowski confirmed it's possible to beat the dark fantasy RPG immediately if skilled enough. The game is set for release on 3rd September for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X.
The Blood of Dawnwalker, a dark fantasy vampire role-playing game, has no main quest but centers on rescuing the player's family from vampires within 30 days and nights. Players can choose their path freely, potentially turning the roughly 50-hour experience into a much shorter one right after the prologue. The game is scheduled to release on 3rd September for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X. lead quest designer Rafał Jankowski explained, “After the Prologue, there is nothing stopping you from going straight to Brencis' castle and trying to defeat the big bad vampire and his vampire officers. It is difficult, of course, but it is physically possible - the content is there waiting for the players. [...] It is absolutely possible to skip everything, like all these quests. If you are skilled enough...” Jankowski noted he hadn't tried it himself but expects skilled players to attempt it soon after launch. He anticipates speedruns, adding, “I'm sure if it can be done, it will be done.” Skipping content means missing large parts of the game, including hunts for Brencis' lieutenants in their themed fiefdoms, reminiscent of Crackdown. These actions raise infamy, triggering a wanted system with edicts like bounty hunters or city lockdowns, as described by creative director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz. However, it also gains respect from rebels in the valley.
