Daniel Passerini acknowledged municipal control failures after Claudio Barrelier, accused in the femicide, was confirmed as a city employee. The victim's grandmother provided details on the second detainee.
Mayor Daniel Passerini admitted failures in Córdoba's municipal structure. He noted that Claudio Barrelier, accused in the murder of Agostina Vega, had worked in a transit area of the capital commune. Passerini confirmed he requested several resignations following the irregularities uncovered. The move aims to review staff backgrounds after the accused's link to the municipality became known. Separately, Agostina Vega's grandmother, identified as Elizabeth, stated that the second detainee, Osvaldo Fassetta, accompanied the adolescent's mother to report the disappearance. Elizabeth said she did not know Fassetta, a friend of Barrelier who had spoken to media before his arrest.
