اكتشفت بعثة أثرية مصرية رأسا رخاميا نادرا لأفروديت وامتدادات بازيليكا رومانية في موقع إهناسيا ببني سويف.

قادت البعثة التابعة للمجلس الأعلى للآثار بإشراف محمد إبراهيم اكتشاف كتلة حجرية تحمل خرطوش الملك سنوسرت الثالث وخرطوش الإله أوزيريس ناريف.

شملت الاكتشافات أيضا بقايا معبد دوري قديم وقوالب فخارية لسك العملات وأجزاء من تماثيل جدارية تعود للعصر الروماني.

وصف الوزير شريف فتحي الاكتشافات بأنها إنجاز علمي يبرز الأهمية التاريخية لإهناسيا.

أكد هشام الليثي ومحمد عبد البديع أن الرأس الرخامي يبلغ حجمه 24 في 25 سنتيمترا ويعكس الحرفية الكلاسيكية للفترتين اليونانية والرومانية.
