انخفضت انبعاثات غازات الاحتباس الحراري الناتجة عن الاقتصاد السويدي بنسبة 1.8 في المئة في عام 2025 مقارنة بالعام السابق، وفقاً لأرقام أولية صادرة عن هيئة الإحصاء السويدية (SCB).

حدث أكبر انخفاض في قطاع البناء، حيث تراجعت الانبعاثات بنسبة 5.4 في المئة، أي ما يعادل 117 كيلوطن من مكافئ ثاني أكسيد الكربون. تغطي أرقام هيئة الإحصاء السويدية انبعاثات الإنتاج في الهواء الناتجة عن الشركات والأسر داخل وخارج حدود البلاد. وقد انخفضت الانبعاثات في سبعة من أصل تسعة قطاعات. في حين ارتفعت في قطاع استخراج المعادن بنسبة 6.6 في المئة، وفي قطاعات الزراعة والحراجة وصيد الأسماك بنسبة 1.6 في المئة. وتؤكد هيئة الإحصاء السويدية أن هذه الأرقام أولية وتخص عام 2025.
